President
From the first five minutes you meet Justin, it becomes clear this isn’t just a job to him. Never mind he has all the accreditations and schooling (see linkedin!); his passion for what he does is infectious. Even while busy designing an incredible backyard or long term planning for Mangold Horticulture, it’s not uncommon to see him drop everything to help a crew get done before a rainstorm hits!
Nathan Peabody
Sales Manager
Aside from growing responsibilities pulling him into the office more and more, it can be said that Nathan is never indoors. His enthusiasm for the outdoors flows into all his work. Warning - he gets excited about bugs, diseases, and all the other odd things found in your yard. We admire that he either knows the answer to these questions or seeks the answer out immediately!
Adam Lund
Production Manager
Adam’s background and degree in environmental studies has allowed him to grow into the successful manager he is today. Adam started as a garden foreman and helped grow the garden department as a garden operations manager. Now he has taken on more responsibilities to become a production manager for all departments. He oversees the day to day operations and makes sure that our crews are always providing the highest quality of service.
Anne Griffin
Designer & Horticulturist
It’s obvious Anne loves flowers. She adds the extra “wow” touch for each of our clients whether it be the front entry pots or balancing a new stone patio our crew created. We love her extensive plant knowledge and she is a graduate of the University of Minnesota horticulture program to boot!
Chris Jung
Specialty Projects Manager
Chris is the type of guy you want on your team because he can build or fix anything! He leads design build projects with the vision to overcome any problems. He seems to keep things moving forward effortlessly each day whether it’s 102° or -15° out.
Justin Seegert
Turf Operations Manager
Justin is a seasoned turf professional who also loves working in the winter running our salt trucks! Always eager to learn, if he’s not out in the field helping the team, you can find Justin tending to projects both in the shop and on the computer. He always stays busy. In the rare times he’s not working he enjoys ATVing with his friends and family.
Hugh Peltier
Account Manager
If you find yourself engaging with Hugh, you can be sure that your landscape is in good hands. His love of nature started young and lead him to a degree in Sustainability and Environmental Studies - spending countless hours emersed in the bountiful northern wildernesses. Hugh carries his love of nature and attention to detail to all the landscapes he touches.
Pete Olson
Irrigation Operations Manager
Water management is ever evolving; Pete is passionate to be on the leading edge of new irrigation technologies. With over a decade of industry experience, he helps all our landscapes perform better through precise water management. When he is not busy tweaking irrigation systems, Pete is an active outdoorsman who loves spending free time playing a round of golf, firing up the grill, or up north ice fishing.
Katherine Mangold
Controller
If you ever need any detailed project done – Katherine can do it efficiently. Not only can she breakdown the numbers and budget with the best of them, she also has years of experience managing the other non-financial administrative tasks and oversees them without missing beat. Her favorite part of her job is dabbling in all areas of running a business and researching new solutions for our team!
May Weiss
Administrative Assistant
May is the member of the admin team who just dives right in! She’s always ready to help with any task, no matter the size, and strives to be efficient and professional. Learning something new here each day is just part of the fun! In her free time, May enjoys traveling and perfecting her baking techniques.
Meghan Williams
Garden Operations Manager
Meghan's passion for Minnesota's landscapes runs deep. Her degree in geology lead her to seek a career where she could be connected with nature and it blossomed into a deep appreciation and love for gardening. As a MNLA Certified Landscape Professional, she has a thirst for knowledge and is constantly seeking to learn more about horticulture. When she isn't designing annual seasonal color or helping the garden crews care for gardens and annuals, she can usually be found seeking new sources of inspiration in the metro areas many public gardens.
